A few things have taken me out of the kitchen this week – but what a buzz today. I was meeting people at the Fifth Floor bar at Harvey Nichols when Holly, who was serving us, came over to say she’s a fan and loves my films. Holly, darling – you and your friend made my day.
And the fact it was Harvey Nicks was not lost on me. If I could choose anywhere to be recognised, it would be there. I can’t afford to shop there, I can barely afford a drink there… but I was recognised there! All I want is for you all to cook and to make you smile. Now, back to the kitchen.
