Everything here I’ve bought in the last six weeks, and it’s all from Zara apart from the grey trouser suit at the end.
- Faux suede jacket: I’d bought a khaki jacket, then saw this and swapped it. About £35, very soft and fully washable. I love it.
- Red sweater: red is still a colour for this autumn and winter. It’ll look lovely with my khaki skirt, and with brown, grey and jeans.
- Satin skirt in winter cream: I love this skirt so much I’ve bought it again. Pair it with a chunky sweater. Winter white takes a bit of bravery, but I love it. For sizing, I’m a 12 in skirts and this is a medium.
- Cardigan: I’m a sucker for a cardigan. The teeny tiny buttons are fiddly, so once you’ve done it up the way you like, leave a few undone at the bottom and just pull it on and off.
- Grey wool-blend trouser suit from Marks & Spencer: I can’t remember the last time I bought myself a suit. I went for a size that leaves room for a sweater underneath – it’s all about comfort. I’m absolutely thrilled with it.
That’s all I’m buying this season. I’ve gone for separates because everything mixes and matches – just pick the styles you like. And if you’re in London, Zara’s flagship on Bond Street has had a massive makeover. It’s unrecognisable, and a lovely shopping experience now.
