Leftover dry sherry, port or Madeira from Christmas? They last much longer than an opened bottle of wine, but they won’t last until next Christmas.
So don’t sit on them. If you’re not drinking them, cook with them. A splash of dry sherry in a romesco is lovely, and they all add a gorgeous layer of flavour to sauces. (I’m saving a glass for my whipped Brie, obviously.)
