I don’t have lots of gadgets, but my truffle slicer gets used constantly. It’s perfect for radishes, and even more for wafer-thin garlic. I’ve never actually sliced a truffle with it!
Just mind your nails. Remember that scene in Goodfellas where he slices garlic in prison with a razor blade? This is just as good.
