Batch-Made Paloma

This week’s cocktail is made in bulk – I use an empty tequila bottle.

Ingredients

Makes a bottle (1 part = 50ml)

• 5 parts tequila
• 4 parts pink grapefruit juice
• 1 part agave syrup
• 1 part lime juice
• Soda water, to top up
• Sugar, salt and a little chilli, for the rim
• Ice

Method

1. Mix the tequila, grapefruit juice, agave and lime in a bottle and keep it in the fridge.
2. To serve, shake a measure over ice.
3. Pour into a glass rimmed with a mix of sugar, salt and a little chilli, and top with a little soda water.
