A Friday Feathers favourite, made with honeydew melon. One honeydew gives you about 500ml of juice, so you’ll have plenty to play with.
Ingredients
Serves 1
- 60ml vodka
- 100ml honeydew melon juice (blitz the melon and pass through a fine sieve)
- 15ml elderflower liqueur
- A few drops of yellow Chartreuse (optional)
- 20ml lemon juice
- A few grains of salt flakes
- Plenty of ice
Method
- Put plenty of ice in a cocktail shaker and add all the ingredients.
- Lid on and give it a good shake.
- Strain into a glass.
Jules’s tip
Literally a few grains of salt gives melon a real boost. Yellow Chartreuse adds an edge of sophistication if you happen to have it.
