I came home ravenous from a shopping trip (hello to Maria, who said hello in Liberty!), so here’s a serving suggestion for my summer sausage stew.
Reheat the leftover stew and pile it onto a slice of toast – all that lovely tomato and pepper, and a couple of sausages too.
Fry an egg and slide it on top, then finish with lots of black pepper and a little sprinkle of salt.
It’s a very fancy sausage and beans on toast, and perfect for brunch. Hunger can do great things for creativity!
