After my Forrest Gump moment in Monument Valley, I had to have another one at the Reflecting Pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial! Then Constitution Avenue, the Capitol building and the White House, which is much smaller than I expected.
This might be one of my last films, as I fly home in two days (and I’m ready for a haircut!). I’ve had the most amazing time. We finished with cocktails at the rooftop bar of the W Hotel, overlooking the White House, the gardens and the Washington Monument – with Roxy, Terrell (our chauffeur for the day, whom I’ve talked into getting chickens – Roxy’s not so happy) and his lovely mum Gloria, my Tina Turner dancing partner. Happy Mother’s Day, America!
